ideally the lights should have in built balasts in the lights.

Thats because u r running in ECO mode. on ur Gear u wil see D-S. once u r on D, just push the gear towards driving seat and it wil shift to S and light wil go and u wil feel more power and thrust on same acceleration. Its just like the "overdirve" button on Passo gear

aoa guys, i hav seen lots of querries above about improving ground clearance. many stick with the tyre sizes and jury is out whether to go for 185/70/14 or 195/65/15. i hav even seen a 16" rim in pics above by yasir i think (looks beautiful). my querry is, 185/70/14 and 195/65/15 both raise the car by 1.2 inches approx, but,
1. does increasing alloy rim size also put the chances of rim fracture high?
2. higher rim size results in higher pressures on wheels too? cause we hav to be pitch perfect about alloy rim quality if we go for 15" or 16" rims right.

i think 15" is better then 16" for vitz. as 16" hit the body in turns. my car was with 14" inch and hit badly on breakers. as i didnt wanted to put 'packing' coz this was never the solution for this problm. so i put 185/65/ 15. and car is now perfect never touches standrd breaker with 5 persons on board. ill recommend you to put 15". and one think. more dont buy hollow rim for vitz even wider rim then your tyre will be in pain.

185 70 14 will improve ground clearance. But if u go on 15 " rims with 185 65 or 195 65 it will be much better. My 16 " rims are of Vitz RS thats y fine. If u choose chinese 16 " they will be heavy on your vitz 1000 cc engine. Might loose some pick. So choice is urs. Best of Luck

Salam everyone, I own a 2013 Vitz with 55K on ODO. I have recently started facing an issue, the car drives absolutely fine and smooth but at times on AC it becomes too sluggish like if i start from stop like a Traffic signal or taking a U-turn the car refuses to accelerate and hardly moves even I push the pedal all way down. It seems as if car is not picking race at that moment but as soon as AC is turned off it accelerates quite normally. This problem occurs mostly when starting from stop or trying to accelerate after braking if you are driving at constant speed there is no issue.

This does happen but not at all the times it does work fine with AC but if you are driving on around 50-60 kmph with AC turned on and then you turn off the AC you can feel noticeable difference seems like quite gain in power with AC turned off.

Need help to identify the issue guys,

Seems like compressor is putting excessive load on engine.

yes same thing happens with me as well. what i think is if you stop the car like on signal n car comes to zero. and you hold the break n gear is in D then you are forcing tranny to stop while tranny is in driving mode. try this when ever you stop ons the signal then put the gear in N or even P if you are in sloppy area even then you can hold the break. im not the expert this is all what i think in my mind,that clutchplate become hot for the first gear and you will only feel in very starting moment after that it work fine if im not wrong..
did you changed your cvt oil?
n throttle body cleaned?

CVT oil was changed about 9000 kms back from Toyota Capital, throttle body hasn't been serviced yet. Probably will get the compressor checked today.

seems like it though since the problem is occurring with AC only, will go today to get the compressor and gas checked. thanks

My 2007 vitz AC is getting pretty crap and i am thinking iof getting it serviced and check gas level.

My question is do we have to get the inner condenser serviced as well? The one installed under the dashboard?

Any one who has got AC service pleaase recommend.

The service of internal AC freezer behind the dashboard depends upon air throw coming from the vents. On full fan speed i.e. at 4th level, if u feel that air throw is low as compared to another car, then your internal freezer is chocked with dust and u need to get it serviced also.
But there are very nominal cases of that thing being choked/blocked. Because cabin filter saves from getting dirt in it. Just get it checked from any reputable AC shop, he will suggest u what to do.
