New to Pak Wheels. Its my fourth day on Vitz 2009 1.0L. Bought it from Lahore, living in Islamabad. It is my first automatic car. I'm having couple of issues.
1 ) On my way back to Islamabad, the engine check light turned on.
2 ) It happens very occasional that when I remove the foot from accelerator, I feel there are very minor jerks in "D". In "S" mode, it is very clear that when I'm driving at 50-60km/h, and suddenly remove the foot, the jerk is very clear.
3 ) As this is my first automatic car, I really don't know how it should sound like. Currently, the engine sound is fine. When I'm standing near the silencer, the "Bup bup" sound is very clear.
4 ) I don't know if its only me or it happens to every Vitz 2nd gen, the sound from inside the car is not very soothing to my ears. I mean I can easily hear accelerating the car sound.
5 ) The front suspension is making awful noise in khaddas. I think its bush work. What do you think? If it needs a suspension replacement, what do you think it would cost me? Do I need Kabuli?
I have not really gotten time to get my car checked, but a mechanic told me that my Cat converter is still there but it is choked. He asked me to bring him a liquid it will clean the converter.
I'm loving the ride but these problems are sucking me. Fuel consumption is my concern. On long, it gave me 14.5 with AC and in city it is giving me around 10.5-11. I want to know what is 2nd gen Vitz's average.
