I am from Islamabad and this dealer is in RWP.
You are right the price difference is around Rs. 70/L only, my bad i had wrong information.

Today calculated avg. manually and it gave final result of 18.4/L whereas odo is showing 19.7/L.On daily driving the rout consists lot of stop and go, generally odo shows avg between 11.5 to 14 whereas manual calculations gives avg of 11/L to 13/L.I wonder why 1KR-FE engine tends to give far better avg on long routs as compared to city driving generally this is associated to bigger / high torque engines. I used to have 9th gen civic (auto) it was giving average of 11.5 to 12.5 within city and on long routs 15.5 to 17/L

That is absolutely fine and normal average for Vitz, if you are using oil 5w30 OR 0w20.

i.e. the recommended engine oils.

And driving at 120 or between 100 to 120. Achieving 17-19 km /l is very easy with 0w20/5w30 on motorway.

In city too you can get upto 14km/l.

He is using 0w20. 18-20 mileage on it on motorways is normal

Any of you guys observing oil reduction issues with 1KRF engine in Vitz, Passo or any other, after 65K total driven, engine reduce 200 ml every 2,500 km and after 90K 200-400 ml every 1,000 km. I have more than 06 cars in my circle who are facing the same behavior after 65K and 90K, they are using 5W30, even used 5W40, 10W40, 20W50 , situation remains same, PCV changed, rest is good, what i assume, this is because of oil expander ring, which fail to function correctly (in full) in warm environment.

Any knowledge or solution to this, please comment guy, any of you reading this

Appreciate brother, is there any solution to it, if you any of brother able to find or seen or heard solution, in my opinion, if you go for that oil control ring change, you will lose engine compression, end up in bigger mess

engine is detoriated go for a rebuild and you will enjoy the ride for next 150000kms

There is no argument on your opinion. the only thing i am surprise of from Toyota, there engine don't fail easily, but in case of 1KRF here is my findings.

Idon't see any sign of weakness , blue smoke, (I been changing vehicles and as user practically knows engine is dying) and all above I been taking feedback of more than 06 different vehicle, it could not be a coincident that all shows the same occurrence right on 65K

I bet something seriously wrong with manufacturing or this might related to warm environment, these engine are meant for cold countries, i never seen a review about 1KR where they are guiding to protect for high number W30 or 40, they are always focus on 5 part (on 5W30)

better get your engine checked.... stress test etc.
one major issue is, we are not sure of ODO meter, whether they are tempered or not. so may be actual milage is 125,000km while ODO showing 65000km only.

this is a award winning engine if used with 0W-20 for whole life every single vitz and passo has the oiling problem because peaople and mechanics dont care

I don't comprehend who was that person who gave award to this engine, which is extremly fragile, under powered and above that extremly noisy. Pakistan is lucky to have a bhair chaal mindset due to which Vitz 1.0 is a successful car in pakistan with such a weired engine. Yes, 1.3 vitz is an exceptional case which is better in every aspect.

Right bro, I lived in Norway n I wish same thing happened there, I would sue the shit out of Toyota on this matter, unfortunately we live in jungle where corrupt prevails, see example of 3 motor compines selling junk in Pk letting people, why can't they sell same junk quality in India ?

Do the following as per sequence below:

1) Carry out engine flush. Use Liquimoly for this purpose. Engine flush is done prior to oil replacement. Read instructions on Liqimoly engine flush can. The engine should run for 15 minutes on idle on Liquimoly flush before you drain the oil.

2) Carry out throttle body cleaning with out removing it, with Liquimoly throttle body cleaner.

3) Replace Air Filter with new.

4) Replace engine oil with Toyota Tagalon 5W50.

5) Replace Spark Plugs.

The above is to be done as per sequence 1 to 5.
