traffic situation is like bumber to bumber and have to apply brakes very often.
no knocking issue
No oil reduxtion
Pick upnis perfect alhamdolillah
Little vibration idle
tyre cinditions average last alignment and balancing were done in Jan.

bhai in that case i think its due to traffic situation. max can be done is cleaning the throttle body and pouring some good catcon cleaner and resetting the ecu. probably will improve idle vibration and slight improvement in milage.

It's perfect with 100%AC usage this mileage is fine.

You can get the good figures when you cruise on long routes.

My vehicle 3.0 crown gives me an average of 2-4 km/L in jammed traffic with AC climate on 18d

Throttle body cleaned when i replaced oil, filters and plugs in April. AC is working fine alhamdolillah. So just looking a piece of advise from you experts. Actually my yearly mileage is around 1800 kms.

Total has very few spots in Karachi and not in my range. So i hv only choice of Shell and PSO.

Another myth break n advise needed

I have new Honda City 1.5 auto, I have read on forum that, at first service on 1,000km engine oil should not be replaced, it should be replaced at 5,000km instead.

As the initial oil put by factory has special additives, which are must for engine initial running/break time.

Is that authentic? Should replace oil at 1000km or 5000km with Honda 0w20.

Rest I will gets AMSOIL for u when available.

I bought vitz 1.0 2009 month ago .today my car was not getting acceleration properly ...then it stoped ...but after while it got started ....burning smel was coming from bonut .....suggest me what do to so that it may not cause trouble in long drive ....

Hello all, i have Toyota Vitz 1.0L, 2008/2012 with total 165000 milage. The fuel average of my car does not exceed 11km/ltr in lahore city with AC and 12.5 on motorways. My mechanic is of the view that the valves in its Head are out of order and need to be repaired/replaced. I consulted his views with other mechanics and found that repairing of Vitz engine/head doesn't work longer, rather we should replace the whole engine.
Vitz experianced owners are requested to please guide whether it will be wise to replace the engine or repairing will also work??
Secondly also guide should i go for 1.3l engine, if replacement is required, as i want my car more powerfull? . will the conversion from 1.0 to 1.3 work properly??

Ok when I rebuild the engines I use base engine breakin oil of AMSOIL and change it after 3600kms and then flush the old oil out and use the oem viscosity lubes.

OK that's the case for our own rebuild in which a proper breaking oil is being used for which we do had a 100% trust level.

Now comes toward Honda they had never specified which base oil they are using for the breakin purpose!! Now that makes some suspicions as breakin oil easily last till 5000kms.
But they had a theory of 1000kms which sound weird may be they had just pour in a standard sae 30 or 40 lube in the engine and they change it after 1000

So my recommendation is to replace it now and use their 10w30 mineral engine oil for next 3000kms it will smooth out the rest of parts. The. Flush it and use 100% synthetic that's the proper way of doing it.

I love to rebuild these small engine and I offer 1 year warranty too on those repair jobs/ Rebuild Jobs.

@rajaatta bahi, thank you for the reply, there is likely chance, i may not used vehicle for a month, i think i can go with AMSOIL from 1,000km, what you suggest
