I even don't know who you are you had commented that how much I am loving the Totachi performance. By the way leave it behind and yu should not worry that I had doNE my matric from toba tek Singh or Landi Kotal you should not worry about it .

All local assembled Toyotas (Corollas at least) come with 20W50 oil from the factory. And yes, a lot of companies recommend 20W50 oil for warm/hot regions such as Pakistan.

Honda is recommending 0W-20 in Pakistan. Other advanced nations with latest engine models and technologies have been shifting to 0W16.

sir as per toyota its recommended grade by toyota japan and is suitable for our driving conditions (stop/start), hot weather and dusty environment along with bad quality fuel.

ideally more advanced oils are created and suppose to work with more stringent exhaust emissions requirements (in advanced nations) and colder weathers with excellent fuel quality.

I personally use Toyota Taglon 5w-50 API SN fully synthetic in my vitz and very happy with the oil. eliminated knocking issue in 2SZ FE almost completely.

Oil performs exceptionally well and i change at 5K Kms religiously. No issues AL HAMD U LILLAH.

I think its reasonable value for money.

Yes 2SZ -FE is happy with 5W-50 Taglon because it needs a higher end in lubrication because most of the 2SZ which are imported in pk are of 2005-2008 model.
Mostly pulled from Ractis , Vios , and belta old.

If you find a 2SZ which is manufactured after 2011 then it will require low viscosity like 5w30 max

Sir my car is orignal 2SZ FE. has a big sticker for 0w-20 viscosity in bonnet. i used to pour 5W-20 in it and it felt so bad, too much knocking and gradually i switch to 5w-30 fully synthetic, 10w-40 fully synthetic and eventually 5w-50 felt best.
