Guys i just bought Toyota Vitz 2011 last Saturday,

The odo is likely reversed. No 2011 car is only 64k km old... very rare.

And yes, it is stupidity of Toyota to put that thick oil in Vitz. Check engine condition and only pour fully synthetic API SN 5w30 or 0w20.

since I bought Toyota Vitz I am unable to drive it with free mind as I got it mileage was 60k which I am quite sure was original as I bought it without knowing that if car have thick oil habit don't feed thin oil sort of and I pour 0w_20 Japan engine oil along with recommended transmission oil change too and since I pour first oil facing engine vibration on idle meanwhile after driving around 3200 to 3500km I come up only 700 ml left which I had no idea what is the reason behind that car consume that much oil so we decide to flush engine first and then use 10w40 liquid moly oil which also get reduce by around 500 to 600 after driving not more then 2500km and last a month before I pour 20w50 perfoma brand engine oil and after driving around 2300 it reduce by almost 100 to 150ml. but genuinely feel loss of power as 0w20 it was in peak then quiet less in 10w40 and lowest in 20w50.
all I want to know what would be the reason behind that on first car consume that much oil that I didn't done engine flush on first I don't think so or car engine was already weak at that time as I didn't check oil level before drain very first or few people said they when you came up only 700 ml left oil it was genuinely not needed to done engine flush rather make oil change interval short would save your engine and putting engine flush made it damage.
now one thing I feel that at time car was feed by 10w40 it omit huge bluish smoke on heavy foot acceleration rather by 20w50 it omit probably little less so shall I suppose to keep using 20w50 as lube shop claim in 3 oil change short interval your car engine may get stable or shall I quit all this stuff and go for engine swap option

The 1KFR comes with sensitive build specially the Oil Rings on piston, the event incur right after 60k KM on ODO, the oil rings gets hard and start to deplete oil, I have the practical experience with multiple cars in my circle, this will goes on, since the oil ring is hard, so replacing them is more like replacing piston n opening of engine, I recommend keep using it with 5W40 in winters/summers or 10W40 in Summers, damage is done, so drive it long as possible it will go on more than 150k KM, mostly drive it more in eco mode.

Change oil every 3000KM, you will lose Total between 500ml to 1000ml, ignore and keep driving just top up 200-300ml every 500km,

Unfortunate, you can find genuine and working products in Pakistan, you may get from overseas, which are expensive or hard to get, cheapest solution is to top up oil every 500km, the rule is if its 0W20 recommended switch to 5W30 or maximum 5w40

Vitz does usually reduce some oil, so that is normal. Buy 4L bottles, just top up after 1500km.. you can run fully synthetic API SN oil like this for up to even 6k - 7k km.. with that single 4L bottle.

If your car is emitting smoke on acceleration then it might be an issue indeed with the engine.

Hey guys! Any idea from where i can get the indicator beep fixed in Karachi? It sometimes start working on it's own specially when shifting to Reverse gear but stops after sometime!

Salam,

so guys last night when i came back home i saw a bit of oil in my porch, upon inspection i found out that its coming from Transmission, its coming where the Axel is attached, it think its the Transmission Seal which is Kaput so definitely need this fixed..

1 question that i have is do i need to top up the transmission oil? i don't think even 100ml would have been spilled because its been leaking since 3 days and car was at home for 3 days and there isn't much oil on porch, moreover if i do need to top-up, can i use my previous left over CVT oil, its more than a year old.

so if any one has faced this issue or have some insight that would be great.

Your axcel seals are becoming ancient.
So when ever the transmission gets heated along with Cvtf fluid temperature raises it would leak from those ancient seals.

Get them replaced both of them.and if the old cvt is not contaminated with dust and debris or any other fluid like water etc then yes you can use it for top up

Guys does anyone know from where i can get my Indicator and reverse parking sound fix? Currently it does not give any sound on indicator and while reversing. But it sometimes starts working on its own but shuts down shortly.
