nice to c ur cars and keep njoyin it . i wanna b in ur group/club caz i m forcing my MOM to buy it but my MOM is not interesting in a second hand cars .she says better to buy mehran 0 meter as compare to buy a second hand unknown car .how it has been used and who used it

anyhow Vitz is a word of german language,any1 nows its meaning?

The general misconception here is that Vitz parts are still not freely available. Is that still true or are spare parts freely available. Many people freak out when they come to know if anyone is buying a Vitz and they say that you will always have problems with parts because they are very expensive.

One e.g. - A car spare parts shopowner told me that the Vitz digital meter costs only around 7000-8000 after importing from Dubai, but a car dealer he knows (maulana sahib) was selling it for around 18000 next to his shop?????????????????

i dont know why people have misconception about the parts i think so its a propaganda started by the local car manufacturers because they can NEVER come upto the price to performance / value of these imported cars,

2 days back i got front brake pads of my vitz replaced, i got the Taiwan made brake pad and including labor it costed me 1000 Rs, i could have gone for the original toyota brake pads and that would have costed me 2100 in total, not too bad if you ask me, by the way the pads i got have 10,000 km warranty

point to be noted that i found the pads on the FIRST shop in gizri i went too, i didnt had to "search" for them like the general misconception is

What about the ECU of the Vitz? The computer part. Do u have any idea how much that costs? Because I was told that its very sensitive.

can any one describe the difference between 2002/2003 and 2004 models of toyota vitz... in fact i am not referring to the interior i am interested in the engine of these models... is there any diference of performance ( fuel economy ) is different in the different models...
and please could any one elaborate the spec of the various engines like is it vvti, or dohc... ( or so on, cuz i have no clue
that what it is all about !!!! funny isi'nt it... but thats how life carries on and on....)

as far as i know there is no difference in the engine, vitz comes in 1.0 liter, 1.3 liter and 1.5 liter (from what i have heard) in 1.0 liter series the engine is same in all the cars technology wise

i hv a vitz 2000 model.my father bought it in august from an honest dealer in lahore..
i hv few ques. n ans to give n take..
Q.1)what is full throttle body clean n how can i clean it.is there any good person who can do it or toyota dealer ship can do??
Q.2)in 2000 model is there anythng else to do after changng plugs all oils n air filter.is there anythng extra to do wid it
now for the answer
A.1)Vitz runs great on CNG n gives very good fuel avrg...i got emulator lambda n other stuff for 55k in lahore jail road HEAVEN CNG is the name
after that the back side waas much low n it hits every time on speed breaker so we changed the springs.the one whofrom whom we got the car told us the shop we got us four springs fitted for only 1800rs that great n cheap n its working fine now
A.2)theres is abt 20% of drop in cng nothin else but still the race when we push the pedal is exceelent bcoz of lambda..
A.3) there arent big probs still .n its workng fine
i got the vitz 00 model white col. auto..31000kms done.now i came here in saudia n my bro drives it he got a few thingsfitted like flash light,white light ,blue lights..can any1 tell me how a spoiler can be installed .i am uploading a few pics okzz...
oh yeah one more thing after being the lambda installed the person says not to wash the car with water in engine wHY if i got to clean it how can i do it.i am uploading a few pics.hope u guys like the ques n ans n the pics...in lahore where my bro can get the manual...???

Thats a nice looking car there, nice rims too.... i have a 99 vitz too and i wanted to get the new bumpers and headlights on... so did you get this done yourself. If so, from where and how much did you pay for it.

how about a get to gether on 20th of this of all vitz owners from karachi, what you guys say???

it was already fixed from japan. actully i bought it from my friend and he import it japan from his cousion.

his cousion was using this car in japan. and all lights and bumpers are orignal of toyota.

I know guy who can offer u modified bumpers, side skirts and spoilers......

sure for get to gather on 20th. how abt other members????????
