Is yaris top speed limited to 170? I tired to take it above that but it was not going above 170 ima talking above 1.5 activ X

171.3 Km/h is the top speed, check your car vitals (including but not limited to, engine oil, spark plugs, fuel type and specifications, tyre type, tyre pressure, passenger and cargo weights) if you are not reaching it. The head and cross winds do not factor in case of Yaris achieving its top speed of 171.3 Km/h

Salam to all Yaris owners. Question that most new owners may have thought themselves too.

Did you change the STOCK TYRES? I personally havent had a good experience with Eurostars, and generally would prefer to change immediately rather than after 15-20k KM when road noise and comfort detoriates. What is your experience on these local tyres? And those who replaced, how was the immediate change?

Need everyones opinion on

1. Tyre size. Normally people replace with 185/65/R15 and Im okay with that. Anyone tried 195/65/R15? Sounds tempting if it gives the car a good feel and stance. This is a 1.3 CVT and mainly use in city traffic.

2. Which brand to get, sadly on a budget right now (max 10-11k per tyre). Im looking for Kumho as Ive personally had great experience with it in multiple cars, but open to trying good chinese brands (used them once, very decent actually)

Oh okay that's why!! Yeah took it 170 couple of times on motorway. Didnt know it had a speed limiter on it, it gets to 160 very smoothly

Such light weight cars will probably fly n tumble if they allow you to take it any higher than 170.

If on a budget, can't go wrong with NEXEN. It's Korean brand and has official presence with authorized sales channels. That's the most important factor when shopping for tires.
