Yaris is same Vitz... Yaris basically has a name in the European and North America markets.

Car overall is good, seems good quality and is almost spacious as Toyota Matrix.
Im sure it will kill the local cars around here!

Toyota Pakistan comes under the regional head Toyota thailand, the 3rd Gen Yaris is different from the Japanese/US/Euro spec Yaris/Vitz,

The name Vitz is used only in the Japanese market, Where as in all other Asian or American/European markets the car is known as the Toyota Yaris.

Only after Sept 2015 when Toyota announce 1.3 Corolla discontinuation ( it is on discussion table ) expect the Yaris Sedan launch date to compete with Honda City for 2016 onwards only. The market survey of late 2014 by the PAMA gave out figures of masses more inclined for sedans instead of hatchbacks when choice is available in same price bracket. moreover the price difference of 1.0 & 1.3 sedan / hatchback between used PKDM & used JDM is not so huge ppl opt for sedans when leased through DFIs.

not to forget the budget & currency exchange rate. That is the MOST Important factor for any manufacturer to decide launch of new shape vehicle
