There is a post on Pakwheels facebook community claiming that they've been able to install cruise control on PKDM Yaris without much hassle. Is there any truth to the claim? Could be a major plus for those looking to buy Yaris.

Yes, they have installed it. Total cost was 16k.
Yes. I did that. But my NIC was there. Not sure if you can do that if you have your NIC with you
Nothing so complicated.. in the past PKDM cars were installed with cruise control aftermarket and that's the case with Yaris.
Facelift with LED lights looks really good.
Any pic with lights on
This promo video has a few shots with lights and drl on
This video has real world shots
What have you done for the arm rest adjustment? Is it worth it while driving?
[quote="zeus65, post:4548, topic:236952, full:true"]thats good... cash makes booking easier.wese are you sure that HBL's 11% is fixed even if KIBOR changes tomorrow??i will further confirm it after eid. lets see what HBL ppl say.[/quote
Yes its ok... haven't done anything atall...
Owners who are getting deliveries of Yaris should post realistic review here..read only one detailed review above..other owners should also contribute. Many people are telling me that its a flop car n i have made mistake by booking....some are ssking to sell on delivery n buy used civic or altis..
Brother don’t listen to these people. I’ve gotten delivery of the car before eid (Yaris ATIV 1.3 CVT). It is really good, and much better than city. Seats are very comfortable, the performance of the engine and transmission is really good. Interior is spacious and elegant. Mileage is 15kmpl on highway. So relax and enjoy your car when it arrives
It will improve after the running period and further after the first oil change
Thanks for the review.. i have booked 1.5 altiv..only thing i dont like is height..i currently have city 16 model so i think its better upgrade...
Obviously it's much better than City.
But in similar price an Altis 1.6 or Civic is a big upgrade. As those cars are from a league above Yaris/city. But they will be used so if someone is ok with buying used only then they are better.
I got a Yaris 1.3 Ativ too.A decent enough car with a soft, comfortable ride. However I may add the only reason I have opted is the non-introduction of the new Honda City. However nothing to take away from Yaris, its interior is good with significantly better seats than any City I have had and I have had all of them.Brakes are soft which is always the case when compared with Honda. However with Toyota one can never go wrong and I am sure this car will sell and will have good resale value as well. Its a good second car for the family which doesn't mean its not a good first car.As regards the quality of material used its now a common complaint that all major assemblers are resorting to cheaper material hence the poor quality of finished product. The older models of Toyota and Honda were far better and solid. As compared to used Corolla/Civic its a very personal choice and dependent on how you intend using the car.Good luck with your decision.
yes altis/civic are much better cars..but altis has 4 speed auto so not fuel efficient and smooth...civic has steering assembly and fuel pump issues so thats y was afraid of buying used car
Well to me it's presence on the road looks more like makeover of belta
It actually is.
