Vios and yaris are being sold side by side in Thailand. Just like pakistan sold Cultus with swift and alto with mehran
Where as world over Swift was a later generation cultus and Alto a later generation mehran.

@faakhir19 I called a Toyota dealership and asked the prices Toyota Yaris. He replied that total would be 6 variants and prices would be from 24.5-29.5 laCs. What could be the Max price of yaris 1.5 Ativ X MT ?
Another budget car introduced for poor countries by Toyota. Will be sold like premium car here by Indus..... Had the city not been around then indus would have priced it at 3 million for basic version..
And who knows that half of the varients might be discontinued due to "less demand ". A lollypop for the common man.
What you guys think about fate of current GLi and XLi. Will they maintain there resale value after launch of Yaris or people will prefer Yaris over Gli?
Gli will definitely increase in demand because the Waddi Gaddi will only be Altis 1.6 at 3.2 and that will be cheapest of the LOT. civic and 1.8 will be higher priced.
XLI will be also in greater demand by the transporter as it is still in luxury segment and its ride is bound to be better than the smaller Yaris
Hmm i see... Malaysia had both and both were called Vios. Till 2018 they had one and then the other.

Slightly bigger won't outweigh the extra goodies Yaris is going to offer.
Plus, why would one pay a certain amount to get a 2 year old USED car when he can get a brand new car in same price just cuz its slightly bigger/spacious. Goodies are still gonna be more in the brand new car. And it is always a better feeling sitting in a brand new car than a used one.

By the way, the AC vents in the back on the top are I think in the latest 2020 model. And not in the one which is launching here. Isn't it????????
The AC vents on the top for back are only for the Indian market, not avalible any where else.

City will out power this car with its mighty Shark-Fin. and another uplift of the facelift that was uplifted after the first facelift.
