our argument was that anybody can make the latest 800cc in less price than 850k (top line variant when discontinued).
Now lets view the current landscape Alto 660cc at 1.6M even chinese united bravo at 1.1M.
No one else entered in that space even not Chinese. The space was open for anyone to come and invest after the huge incentives offered for new entrants.
My question is that were we not at fault ?Otherwise middle class could have a relatively better option in shape of mehran where even after price hikes mehran could be easily available at 1M to 1.1M rather then 1.6M alto.
Suzuki,honda,toyota are all listed companies and their financials are available publicly just go and see that suzuki is in loss from last 8 quarters while honda is in loss for last 3 quarters.
I think we need to give space to everyone because we are a small economy with very little buying power.
