In terms of build quality, sure, Thailand built cars would be better than local made cars. They won't have the extended height issue as well.
However, in terms of features, they seem to be inferior to their local made counterparts. For example, the variant being sold for 3,375,000/- doesn't have MID, multimedia screen and back camera. Engine is inferior as well (in my opinion). Beige interior is liked more in Pakistan while this one has all black interior. People criticize 1.5 Ativ X variant here because according to them it is too close to price of Altis 1.6 and at that price it is better to get Altis instead of Yaris. This inferior variant of Yaris is being sold for higher price than current price of Altis 1.6.
The one being sold by Toyota Central Motors is in between Ativ and GLI variant of local Yaris (interior is almost same as GLI). If they're selling it for price close to that of GLI variant then sure, it can be considered (but I doubt that would be its price)
