Was going to post similar thing as there has been lot of debate of Yaris being smaller than City, may be bcoz of its design and front it may look compact but Indian Yaris numbers are as you posted, Lets hope IMC doesn't mess the size up.

When I say small, I mean the boot space is lesser then City. Seating is more of less same then a city but it can seat 4 people easily. 5th person wont be comfortable. Rear leg room is okayish

Bhai 5 log to accord mei bhe porei nae atei on a longer route its miserable.

The longer dimensions dont always mean more rear leg space. This particular car is great for the driver. The badly placed centre arm rest is a killer for any one in the middle back seat in Yaris's case.
