I have extensively driven both the cars here in India and they perform well on highways. But the 6 th gen city has a slight edge at high speeds due to its stiffer suspension, which makes it steering and handling more accurate as compared to Yaris.

Being said that, I have many friends here who have crossed more than a lakh km on Yaris and are more than happy with their choice.

Lastly with the limited amount of safety features available in Yaris in your country you have to be a fool to drive at speeds more than 130 or 140 kmph on highways

7 is standard in all the variants plus additional safety features like all-disc brakes, ESP, HSA, TPMS, 3-point seatbelts for all & more

Can relay device also transmit immobilizer code in addition to door unlock signal?
I am just going through an article, it says that by keeping key fob in fridge we can block signals to be transmitted to relay devices.

Guys, its a weird request but can someone upload pics of their yaris if they dont mind who have changed the rims and bigger tyres with lowered suspension or possibly sideskirts? Want to see how it looks with these slight modifications as no-one has done it elsewhere on the internet:joy:

Guys- how are you maintaining the chrome part of Yaris? especially 1.5 version? I can see they are getting black dots on the chrome area.

I preferred Ativ X due to bigger engine, all the goodies, better sound proofing due to acoustic Windshield plus maintenance and Excise cost is same for both as they both fall in same bracket.

go for Ativ X. i don't think you will regret it

I visited Toyota Rawal yesterday to take a deeper look at 1.5 ATIV X - while they aren't offering any test drives but I checked the AC and sound system which were both quite decent. I found the field of view and seat positioning for myself (6 feet height) good too. Grey colour was on display which I loved so decided on grey, There is less thigh support in the seat but that can be fixed by adding padding in the seat cover later. And the console box position everyone knows.

However one thing that is puzzling me is that every Yaris had 3 lines on the roof - can anyone take a look and guide what is this? You can zoom in on any Yaris in the picture and its quite visible. Corolla in the back row doesn't have these lines, only Yaris does.

these lines are for AC ducts for Behind passengers. check the Indian Variant where they have Behind AC vents
