Relay device clones your "Fob" aka key.

It includes the RFID Codes. As the Code is cloned; immobilizer thinks that the actual key is there as it is receiving the desired signal (Code).

O bahi, stop reading crap, these are not Mercedes or Audis...

No one steals them with such high tech, anyway if you still have doubts, wrap your FOB in Allumunium Foil and it won't transmit signals beyond that.

Further, modren car FOBs dont transmit beyound 3 feet range, is highly unlikely that you go that close to a thief to copy your signals...

Its good for off market carz, accidented cars that are hard to seĺl.... further if you need to get rid of anything in emergency...

Car first is just like anyother dealer in the market.. do safeguard your interest, never handover the car with a transfer letter or your id card... this will bound the owner to comeback to u for transfer

Immobiliser cars with push start.....especially grande is being stolen by this method in the twin cities. They have started coming with their own small laptops even to remap everything.
Get the car insured before taking it from the dealership. DONT GET A TRACKER INSTALLED.
what is the TPL insurance rate they are giving you?

Yeah, heard a lot of push start Aquas were also stolen in the twin cities using the same method.

Dont go with them. Get urself a better deal from some other insurance company.

Mention ur insurance concern in one of the major threads e.g civic or corolla and he might see it.

i dnt think there are ac ducts in roof, the indian version rear fans are just ventilation fans, they take air from the front of the cabin and force them to back. they are not connected to the evaporator or main blower

Yes every rational buyer does this. Insure it and then take it from dealership. Choose ur insurance company. Tell them to send over the surveyor. He will take pictures of your car. Take ur cnic. Upload ur details on their database/server and voila your car is insured. The documentation requirements can be fulfilled later on. You will receive sms from the insurance company. Also email is an acknowledgement as well.

I have also sold a car to carfirst which is still in my name after 8 months. They sold it to some dealer and the dealer sold it so someone. Carfirst guys dont give any reasonable or satisfactory answer!

Yes they have this issue.But transfer of car is very important.If someone does a crime in the car and car is in ur name then police will come to ur house.
