23 is too good to be true. 24.5 seemed more realistic. I doubt they ll ever price the starting variant at the same price as city's. People ll buy it anyways, even if priced a lac above the city. New car, 1st generation, toyota brand, much better suspension. Won't be in 23 m sure.

Furthermore, GT motors have the balls to release info before launch. Karachi dealerships are plainly denying knowing anything abt Yaris launch.

Direct injection is the real issue. European cars have this system for a long time but it has resulted in gunk/carbon build up in some areas of the inlet that causes issues.

1. Mt 1.5 city is not faster than Grande​🏻

Sir i have kept almost all local sedans at the same time and much into its business i can guarantee you the initial pick/acceleration of city 1.5 MT from stand still is far powerful than either grande or civic x cvt they both dont come close to it before shifting to 3rd gear. We even had quite a lot drags between all of them.

These cars are not sports cars. And buyers are not racing on road. Majority of people buying these cars use light foot to get better fuel economy. This aspect should not even be a factor when deciding in these two cars.

Pakwheelers I have a Query. Yaris gonna be launch but lets if we compare it for a while with Honda Brv. I knew its crossover VS sedan but if in terms of Utility and value of money, which would be BETTER between Toyota Yaris 1.5 ativ x MT VS. Honda Brv 1.5 MT? And Why?? Please Guide

yaris size is smaller than current city. (looks smaller)

Brother, don't be decieved by pictures. Its size is bigger. Check specs.

Also, please do not drive cars with no or laughable safety.. city has no airbags... Yaris is an automatic upgrade choice for City owners.

Wrong comparison..

But still..

Yaris if you want:
. Comfortable drive and suspension
. Huge Trunk space
. 5 people in car comfortably
. Slightly better fuel mileage

Brv if you want:
. 2 extra people, but then trunk space is much less
. Slightly Higher ground clearance

So.. if your Ultimate decision maker is extra 2 people, only then brv is ahead. For all other features Yaris is ahead.

Yaris will definitely bring the end to the current model of city in Pakistan, the armrest is in a very stupid position though. Takes up leg space of back row and also hard to actually rest your arm on it. It has a good gas mileage though, can go upto 22 on highway if cruised on 80km/hr , 20 if 90km/hr and 18km/hr on 100 kph. This is pretty good.
