Well as far as I remember they have never increased the prices significantly whenever they have launched a new model of Corolla in the past. XE (base variant of Indus shape Corolla ) was at 769,000/- in 2001 end and starting of 2002. Then they introduced XLi for 849,000/- The price difference wasnt massive and it was a complete new change. Even in 2014 when they launched 11th gen Corolla the overall price difference was just 75,000/- (base variant and even Top of the line variant)
So they can surprise us this time as well ! Their cars are hardly selling we hardly see new applied for corollas on roads these days. XLi Auto is for 26+ at present so their Yaris GLi CVT (even with power windows, mirrors and airbags ) shouldnt cross 24.5 lacs. There should be a gap of atleast 1.5 lacs between the price of 0 meter XLi (which is no longer in production now ) and Yaris GLi. Yes I know XLi offers nothing it is sluggish, fuel guzzler has manual windows but still overall its a Corolla. Ab yaris mein aue corolla mein itna price difference to hona hy chahye. Agar Yaris mein koi XLi jesa variant ara hota to usay XLi corolla se 300K sasta hona chahye tha !
