5-6 Days ago I received a call from Indus Head Office and they told me to take my car to the dealership, when i went there an engineer was sent by Toyota Indus to resolve my issue. He had a detailed video call with the technical team in karachi and they decided to change the alterntor of the car with another Yaris (the other Yaris was a Gli CVT and was currently in use of that engineer who was sent by Indus). They changed the Alternator and told me to Drive the Car for about 6-7 days and observe if the sound was still noticeable. Currently i have driven about 8-900KM after the alternator was change I haven’t observed any sound except when once i was suddenly accelerating from 40-100Km/h. One thing i have noticed is the fuel average had dropped, but i have changed my Petrol Pump and it got better again so maybe that was because of the poor quality of petrol. Currently i am still observing the car thoroughly so that the issue can be resolved permanently. Indus told me to visit the dealership whenever i was satisfied that the sound is not there and then they will replace this used alternator with a New One.
