Can someone advise about some basic questions about fuel average? I have yaris 1.3 cvt, driven around 400 kms. Mostly the eco indicator is on because i drive in low rpm. My current fuel average is 13.2 km/litre without AC. I drive in city.

1- Is it true that fuel average will improve after few thousand kms i.e.5000 km or its just a myth?

2- Cleaning air filter regularly will improve fuel average?

I got this for my Corolla 2006. Didn't install it.

I will check if the shop keeper has frame for yaris aswell.

Since this tablet is avaliable separately frame for Yaris should be avalible too. I havnt used mine but Nakamichi is definitely better then Chinese unbranded units.

There are 2 more Chinese brands 1. Xtrons (one model available at Sehgal Auto Shop) and another by the name of 2. Joying which I am not sure if available in Pakistan, both of these are being compared with Kenwood and other mainstream brands and have been given good reviews.

Sehgal has only advertised only one type of model for the Xtrons and there are other models offered by them with different type of features, it also is scalable accessories such as GPS, DABS+, TPMS, Engine information etc etc all sold separately as add ons (not sure if any of these are available at Sehgal,) also not sure if any technician at these auto part stores (including the one at Toyota dealership have the relevant knowledge and capability to hook these accessories into the vehicle.

Sir it's size is 9 inch. So it will be bigger than the stock unit. A bigger unit would look odd in my opinion. Any product recommendations in the stock size?

Aoa everyone, i will be taking delivery of yaris Activ X on Wednesday from toyota rawal GT road, Can anyone guide me about what i should check before taking the possession of he car, sort of like a checklist?

Also i have about 50K on top to spend on aftermarket items i was thinking of getting the usual Airpress, mudflaps, trunk tray and Mats i would have about 30K left what else should i buy for the car?

i think alot of Chinese units are avalible for Toyota fitting which i think is 1 inch bigger then the universal fitting units.

facebook page JDM experts sell Chinese units for double the price but they claim their product to be better aswell.

Got a unit for friends Fortuner, It is working good im not sure if its worth 32k

change tyres. Stock tyres are too noisy. and ppl who have changed tyres say the grip improves.

what was your booking date i too have booked from rawal,hwo many days did it took for you to be exact from booking to delievery,mats come with car why bother buying use them and throw them to get new ones when you are done with them ,i will get trunk tray seat covers and that is it rest every thing stays stock in my cars ,i think mudflaps will look hideous and my honest advice would be to spend this 50k on insurance (of one year) rather then these things

PBO was of 28th july got invoices on 3rd Sep expected delivery is 14th Sep

30k for tyres (includes bargaining) with original exchanged, sizes commonly in market are 185/65/15R for thailand/malaysia/Vietnam etc for nearest to stock size, only 100% stock 185/60/R15 are available in Chinese brands (I would rather trust General). Variety of brand models available Bridgestone Ecopia, Dunlop Earth, Continental etc are most common. When changing tyres personal preferences do come into play, if you want better grip and handling then you will need to compromise on fuel efficiency similar if fuel efficiency is priority then compromise on sturdiness and puncture resistance would be a challenge etc etc. You would need to do some Youtube/Web research before finalising on a particular brand/model and also availability. It's advised to do some research first hand then visit market to see what is available and then decide. In this whole jumbled up exercise do not forget to ensure that the store is legitimate importer and does not stick you with smuggled tyre in tyre twisted sidewall stuff.
