Yaris would have sold the same only a handfull more if it was fl. Only that person would not buy yaris because of looks who buys the car other peoples applaud and clapping and show off not the person who is buying it for himself.

A question to 1.3 cvt owners, do you feel car being heavy while the AC is on? Without AC the car runs very smooth, no lags, no drop in pickup and fuel avg is really good. One easily gets 14km/l. But with air-conditioning on, both the average and pick drops significantly. Please give your observations.

You already know the procedure. Just follow it and within an hour or so you should be able to get your registration done. No need to use an agent. Some tips to save time once you are there. 1) Take someone along who can stay in the car whilst you are inside. Sometimes parking closer to the place can be an issue 2) Make copies of everything NIC, Sales certificate, sales invoice. There is a photocopy shop there but usually it has a long queue of people. Download Form F from the website - fill it in advance and take two blank copies along - just in case. Keep a 'pen' with you. You'll thank me later. 3) Take along proof of residence in ISB (house ownership papers, lease agreement) in-case your address on ID card is not of Islamabad. 4) Keep the exact amount you'll need to pay. Use the PakWheels calculator to determine the amount for your specific variant. Keep 10,000 Rs. extra just in-case. Inspection place is around 50 meters from the main gate.

Today I went to Whispering Pines resort located in the Margalla hills (8 kms ahead of Monal) on my Yaris Ativ X. Hill start assist was working perfectly (a very useful feature indeed). Triptonic is absolute love. Didn't feel any lag or under power feeling even though the last few slopes were quiet steep. Just wanted to share my experience. Thanks

Having issues with T-link connectivity, sometimes works most times doesn't, lots of disconnection, have followed all procedures, app permissions etc etc, only suspect is cable. Also the safety handbrake screen disable is pain in the neck no stability in the software /app. Once was able see Google maps mirrored while driving, after that one time never happened. Really disappointed in this area. Seriously considering after market choices but don't want to go for substandard (falsely claimed 2gb/16gb) Chinese options. Still not sure which lcd/audio system to get that fits clip-to-clip without any alteration. Suggestions and ideas are welcome

Get a good cable. i was having same issue but resolved since i have changed the cable. no disconnection now.

You are right. I have Yaris 1.3 MT. I used to feel this lag and load on engine too with the AC on, but now I have become used to it. I previously had Corolla GLI MT, so initially I could feel the difference a lot, however, now I just ignore it. You will get habitual to it too.

Just came to Lahore from islamabad, there is wind whistling noise at 120Km/h from the driver door side, some one else getting this issue?

This is the case with every car.The engine becomes heavier the moment AC is put on.I had the same experience with my Honda City 1.3 CVT earlier and now with Yaris 1.3 CVT.This is more prominent on 1.3s but as you go up in power it reduces to a great deal.For instance its negligible in Civic 1.8 CVT.
As regards fuel consumption.It all depends on your style of driving and the traffic density.I live in Karachi and if driven in Saddar mileage is down to 8.0km/l while a drive to airport will raise it to 14km/l.

Got my yaris 1.3 cvti.
Only modification uptill now is installation of mud flaps. Got them in white color.

I am considering changing tyres to 185/65 R15 with alloys.
Additional modifications which will be done in few weeks.

1) installation of sound system
2) android panel with reverse cam (pls suggest a place in Lahore where android with 2GB Ram is available)
3) Fog Lights
4) DRLs
5) Auto retractable side mirrors
5) Maybe seat covers. (pls also suggest good place to get seat covers done in lahore)

The mud flaps looks properly fitted. Where did you get them from and did you get them painted afterwards? Does it need a hole to be drilled in bumper?

It is made in white plastic. There are holes where you can screw them in. No need to drill any additional hole.

It rains a lot in Lahore. I drove the car two days and the (dirt) splash marks were all over the side skirts and bumper. So it helps keep the car clean. I like the look of the car with mud flaps.
