Just received my Yaris GLI.

1. The color of the floor carpet is beige which is likely to get dusty/dark with time. Should I cover the base floor with rexin or use 7D/9D mats that cover all the corners?

2. From where can I get perforated leather poshish in Lahore? and how much will it cost?

Hi does anyone experience a weird sound coming from car when it is parked close to a wall, it comes from the engine and sounds like a Krung-kring-krang, krung noise
Mostly comes when at idle and also when moving slow next to a wall or closed space specially in a car parking basements

These noises stay for some time long and do not denote as any malfunction rather it is also mentioned in the owners manual.

I booked my Yaris 1.5 Ativ X CVT on March 11 from Toyota Capital Motors Islamabad with April tentative delivery. I paid full amount. Today I received message from toyota that there will be delay in the delivery. As per my source, there is ECU shortage n the shipment will reach on may 02. My vehicle will be delivered on 14th or 15 th May. This is my update. If anyone has other information then do share

Same thing happened with my brother.
He got this message from Toyota

“Dear Customer,

We regret to inform you that your order PBO 29*****, tentatively scheduled for delivery in April 2022, is facing delays. We regret any inconvenience caused & assure you we are doing our best to minimise the delay.”

Please share the news if anyone else is facing the same problem

does anybody know how to turn on the Speed linked door lock function at 20 KM for 1.5 YARIS ATIV X ?? its mentioned on user manual Page 131 but I cannot get it to work.

1. Yes can be installed but you will need to make holes in car body to install these
2. Unfortunately not available in Pak

I felt that the steering of Yaris is on the harder side as compared to other cars in its league.

The steering works smooth with the correct tyre pressures. Plx check.

Unfortunately you can't. You will need OBD Plug And Play Speed Lock Unlock Device like below. I AM NOT SURE THIS WILL WORK FOR YARIS OR NOT.

Secondly it may be possible to program into ECU by OBD scanners like Launch Pro etc.
