How much would it cost if I get it fixed by Toyota? I also have to visit them for alignment since steering is tilted towards right while driving straight (factory fault) from what I read here

At first try to clean it with thinner. if only deposition then this may be clean if it is not then just qalam touching because it is very slight no need to repaint.

Then Qalam Touching is the cheepest and best solution.. but ask the painter to file the paint touching through wet zaro raigmal for fine finishing. and polish it .

Paint thinner won't work in this case. Paint is gone from the scratch area.
Keep in mind, kalam/touchup is just to improve the look of the damage. It's not 100% fix. You may not able to notice the damage a few feet away, but it's noticeable if you get closer. 100% fix is repaint, but I would not advise for such a small scratch.

Most of the painters do very messy job for paint touch up. Personally I like doing it myself using Soft99 Kizu Pen which works like crayon color. No dripping paint.

Actually i’m not that familiar with the technicals of car paint and by the looks of it this is a very deep scratch and I want to restore this part back to its original condition so a repaint would be best? Also will they repaint the whole bumper for this or just the scratched area? I want it to look just like factory paint and no mismatches :’)

Will Toyota do a good OEM job to bring it back to its original state and any idea about the cost they will charge?

I have to visit them anyway for 1st free service so I’ll ask them but a heads up would be nice

Yes, for a 100% fix, repaint of the whole bumper is required. I suggest take dealership opinion on this as well. See what they say about it.
Some dealerships do a better job than the others, and most of them color match very well.
I am not sure about pricing these days.

Obviously it's your car and your decision, but I suggest not to go for repaint because such small scratches keep occurring due to our poor traffic conditions.

Oh I thought for repaint they would just repaint the scratched area, I don’t think its ideal to go for whole bumper repaint for this.

I’ll ask the dealership (planning to visit Toyota Central or Defence as I’m in Karachi) will update here about their opinion.

Hi guys!

I’m @ Toyota Central (Karachi) right now & I have been assigned Mr. Imran sahab (very interesting individual, not in a good way ) for First Free Service of my Ativ X.

Apparently its steering needs to be tilted towards slight right to go straight (known fault from what I heard) so Mr. Imran said that he’ll get the steering wheel re-aligned to centre.

Now my question is that steering wheels are crooked due to alignment issues right? Does Yaris has alignment fault in new vehicles or steering tilt fault?

Because when I asked Mr. Imran sahb (very respectfully) that please do alignment & wheel balancing (because I saw a first service video somebody made on youtube : https://youtu.be/m9PddKv9Ok8) and they did wheel balancing & alignment on the car as well but Mr. Imran sahb very profoundly questioned my knowledge that how am I supposed to know that my alignment is bad because I’m apparently supposed to be living under a rock perhaps? Khair he said: “Alls ima do for u is get your steering wheel centered, for alignment & wheel balancing you’ll have to pull out some smooth benjaminsss my G ”

Anyways, he said you go enjoy in the lounge while the guys do your first service and then i’ll call you to go on test drive to figure out the steering issue.
So I’m in the massage chair relaxing my sore muscles & damaged brain cells from dealing with Mr. Imran sahb while they are apparenntly working very hard🤞 on my vehicle since it has been 2 hours now

So any feedback from you guys would be appreciated regarding this steering issue while I wait here
