Facing issue in my 1.5 CVT Ativ X. When accelerating from a standstill fully, the car is normal but when rpm reaches near redline it gives jerk rpm falls a lil and then it goes up again and repeats. This happens in sports mode but not on eco mode. Only once or twice in eco and the jerks were very less severe.
What can be the issue. Please help.

Yes you are right. I mentioned the wrong model number because yI searched by XP150 when looking for manual and got to the the correct manual. Though actual model number is different as you mentioned. Sounds confusing, but this is how I got to the actual manual..There is no separate manual for Pakistani market car. One single manual covers many markets and many models.

15W-40:

That would be fake shifting that's programmed in Toyota cvts.

Maybe that was in past. If you look at this manual, you can find mentions of different countries including Pakistan. Word Pakistan is mentioned twice in manual.

Why would you push it till red ?

Most likely programmed to save CVT.

I would advise not to push till red

Yes, the wireless remote certification mentions Pakistan, but service intervals are mentioned for Thailand, Taiwan and Malaysia.
