I don't want to drag this discussion.

A car with no regards for passenger safey is a crap car. No Honda or Toyota car (at least 2million+) is produced anywhere in the world without any airbags.

People in PAK buy Mehran in bulk too, lots of sales. Still doesn't mean it's a good car. It's crap, like City is. I respect Civic because it doesn't compromise on passenger safety.

City might become worth buying if they add those 2 air bags as a minimum. Until then, do not argue.

Yaris Sedan shape might not be too sporty (from the back), but it will have a lot of utility with safety and obviously a comfortable ride because of suspension.

I can't believe that you can spend 2.5 million and not care about your own or your family's safety.

Corolla is more reliable as comparred to city. Less maintenance cost and better resale.

What new city? Don't talk about random fairy tales. Talk about the trash that is present in PAK.

City is CRAP in Pak. End of story. 2.5 million, not even 1 air bag. Talk to me when they introduce airbags.

City side mirrors cost 45k. Thats insane. Honda has got to offer affordable after sales services. Their service is the worst. Reborn cat converter costs 1 lac.

I have been the owner of both. Current honda city and facelift corolla. Both manual. City’s build quality is v inferior, no sound proofing, suspension is weird, clutch pedal starts squeaking, cabin squeaks here and there. Above all, no safety features

Whereas, build quality of corolla is way too good. Drive is v well planted. Torque at low end is v good.

P.S i am a very cool and calm driver, love my cars and love to take care of.

During rain, even window wipers motors r noisy of honda city. To talk of build quality, every other honda city in karachi has developed rust inside wheel arches, the leatherette around the manual gear knob peels off like anything. Corolla does not have any such issues.
