Why not enjoy the ride, mind you i did not compare the Xli to Civic you were the one doing that and you are butthurt that Daddy made a sensible choice of buying the Grande and not a fanboy CIVIC. (No hard felling here i asolutely love the new Civic) and now that there is an opportunity of a second car the chances of city being bought is in doldrums as yaris makes more sense so now it comes to handling and stability.
I have driven city on highway (Khi-Hyd) not something that you would call very reassuring, as a subcompact car it was good at 120 at 140 Ok and i did not wanted to act stupid as it was a friends car did not go any furhter.
I have driven my Xli to 160 (Hyd-Khi) and did not feel confident any further and did not try to go any faster than that. It gave a flaoting feeling, but it was out of its ususal driving zone and was reckless on my part. But I did not feel any more confidence and did not drive any faster than that.
I told you Corolla and Civic are in the same class, people only compared xli gli to city was the price point. (Now that price point is something you want to ignore by comparing Xli to civic so i thought i should show you the reality.
It happens, I loved Civic appreciated the city but when the time came to buy the actual car with my money, i bought an Xli instead of city auto.
That car gave me an average of 14kmpl, best of 17+, bought for 17.35, kept for 2.5years had one small accident so one fender painted. Sold for 20 by informing the new owner about the accident and repair work.
City does not come close to V2 in drag, and i am not stupid to compare a hatch with a sedan, what is so different about those any way, does CIVIC and Corolla not offer hatches in european markets, are they MAD??
