At besal, we started to pitch our tents in the evening, but were stopped by the police, saying that camping in kaghan valley is banned due to the imposition of 144PPC. We argued that we had seen ppl camping throughout our way from naran. But they wouldn't listen to us.
So we were forced to rent a tent at dudipat hotel for PKR 1000. the tent was big enough to accomodate all 12 of us.
This actually was a blessing in disguise, as it turned out, we found out on the next night, that the camps we bought from lahore and thought they will accomodate 4-5 ppl each, actually were only 3 person camps i.e. we had 3 camps for 3 persons each, so only 9 persons accomodation. So had we camped, we still would have needed to rent a tent. But that night we were really angry at the policemen, because by nightfall, besal was full of camps, everyone had pitched their own camps and the police hadn't stopped them.
