The original filter doesn't mention the part number on it.

I cannot find it online. the schema here is not showing the filter.

so I have nissan otti 2012 model, which is identical to mitsubishi ek wagon 2012, I need owners manual for this any of these cars. AoA, Xulfiqat Bhai, what if the plastic tube inside the pan is broken ? I went for a cvt oil change and found out that it doesn't have any plastic tube, probably broken earlier or by the mechanic when taking it out, anyway does it make any difference ? Or should I look for the spare plastic tube ?

Adding a bit more.... though Some of the plastic tube particles were found from inside the filter, pointing it is broken recently

You need that tube, its to set correct level of oil.

It's been almost 1 year since I have this Vitz 2009. When I pruchased this car back in July 2022, I replaced the CVT Oil because the ODO was at 80000+ and I wasn't sure whether the previous owner replaced that or not at any point. I used Toyota CVT TC Oil.

Now, the problem is that there were no leakage or anything all this time but just 4 days back, I saw the CVT oil leaked as there was a big patch where my car is parked (pink). I have taken some pictures and tried to inspect as much as I could to find out where it's leaking from but it's like all over the place so really hard. I don't want mechanics to just open everything and do the job until I know what's actually causing it. So, can anyone please guide me here?

PS: I'm not driving this car because I don't know how much fluid is left in there as it's probably not safe anyway until it gets fixed.

Lookinat the condition of sump it looks like oil has been leaking since long say one year since the transmission fluid change and not just 4 days back.

That's definitely possible. So, I believe I would need to go for opening that sump, clean everything from inside and then put it back with the new gasket? Not sure if I would need to touch the filter, I don't see much good reponses here on this thread about the filter lol.

even if you dont replace the filter - which you should. you need to open that sump up, clean and repack it properly with the right gasket or sealant.

Thanks for the response brother. I can definitely go for the replacement and not the wash but I couldn't find it online. So I will check in Local Market or Toyota Dealers. Do I need a part number for Filter and Gasket?

35330-0w020 strainer assembly
90301-32010 strainer gasket
35168-52020 pan gasket

I hope they are correct.
