Hi, one of my cars is a Toyota Vitz 2008 & the first thing that I did once I got it a few months back was to replace its CVT transmisson oil. Replacement of Toyota Vitz CVT oil should not be a problem for any well versed mechanic who has performed the procedure before.
Please inform about the place from where the oil is leaking: the edges of the bottom transmission oil chamber or the chamber drain plug and also the quantity of the oil leaked.
From what you mentioned I assume the mechanic opened the bottom oil chamber of the transmission (by unscrewing 15 bolts) as required to completely drain out the old CVT fluid and clean the filter.
While re-installing the oil chamber did he replace the old gasket placed on top of the chamber with a new one or use a silicon adhesive? Has the drain plug of the chamber been securely?
To rectify the leakage problem, assuming the CVT is still fully intact, you need to have your car inspected by a competent mechanic & also need to have handy Toyota CVT-TC oil 0886-02105 and a new transmission oil chamber gasket.
