Salaams and hello to all after a several year absence. To show my face here is taking more courage than I thought I had left, but I feel safe here, regardless of who links in to reap their own benefits.

Sonyseth, your kind concern touched my heart, and as I have visited this auspicious place of PakWheels, which for me is hallowed ground, a few times since my last post in 2008. I did not feel worthy of making any contribution. The past three years have been the most difficult of my life.

I really miss everthing about PakWheels, especially the people here. The global economy wreaked havoc with our magnesium wheel technology and I pretty much lost everything, a few million dollars I guess, and closed the operation in mid 2009. But it is only money, and I was never in it for the money. I was in it to prove that it could be done.

What I hoped to achieve, and alhamdulillah I believe we did achieve, was the technical capability to injection mold magnesium in a high performance structural application. A feat that had never been done before and may never be done again, as it took so much to achieve...the penultimate "Pyrric Victory"...

Remember Rudyard Kipling in his poem, "IF"...If you can treat triumph and disaster as the imposters that they are, you will be a Man, my son. So I think I got a bit arrogant and leveraged every penny I had and was nipping at the heels of business success. Well, a few things happened that I feel I can share now as it has required a few years for me to heal the wounds of the war on Technological inadequacy.

More later if there is interest, as there is already several hundred pages of opinion on what happened to me and my wheels...

But I am fine now and look forward to participating here again if you will have me my old and dear, dear friends...

Boy am I glad to see you here. PW has experts in almost every aspect of automobiles, but I guess you're the only one with expertise in Auto Design. I hope you can teach a bit or two or even more to us.

Its good to have you back, though I never really understand what experiment you were onto with magnesium but perhaps Mr. Sami would understand it and elaborate it to us.

I have a set of Durrani Magnesium Wheels on my Ducati Monster and it goes like a scalded cat!

Toofanebatameezi: I used a way to turn water into metal and then took that metal (magnesium) and manufactured the lightest strongest wheels in the world and lost 25 years of life savings to prove that it could be done...just another barefoot walk in the park. ABSOLUTELY no regrets, for I know what it is like to stare down a dragon, really I do...

Here ye go! Hope you're able to comprehend the idea. Safari is a Two-box design. Pillar a to b is box 1 and pillar b to c is box 2. I have not disturbed box 1 as it needs to be infact reinforced for drivers safety through roll-cage however, the doors are replaced with wide body kit made of fibre-sheet.
