I have not done this trek but gathered some information for you which might be helpful

Location:
Borith Lake near Hussaini village or Passu Lake near Passu can be the starting points which is now accessible only through boats of Atabad Lake.
Views:
Many websites claim that this location gives a fabulous view and u can see the following at the same time:
1- Passu Glacier
2- Batura Glacier
3- Passu Peak
4- Batura Peak
5- Shisper Peak
6- Desteghil Peak
7- Momhil Sar
8- Rakaposhi
9- Hisper Muztag
10- Trivor
11- Ultar
Trek Routine:
Day 1:
This can have 2 options.
Either start the trek lightly and camp at Passu Gar (new or old) after 3-4 hours of trek. New Passu Gar has planned camping areas.
Or u can stretch it by crossing the Passu glacier on same day by starting early in the morning and finish the day at Luzhdur on the other side of Passu Glacier.
Day 2:
If we go by option 1 above then this day will be used to cross Passu Glacier. This is the tricky part of the trek. Everyone is rating it a technical crossing and crampons are highly recommended. It will be very difficult to cross without guides as glacier is continuously changing shape and location just like Hopar.
This will be tiring day and camping is done at Luzhdur.
Day 3:
A steep climb with huge change in altitude to reach the meadows between Passu and Batura Glacier which is called Patundas.
Day 4:
Very steep drop to the other side alongwith Batura Glacier and reach Yunzben and then onwards to KKH.
I am not sure whether climb can be attempted from Yunzben side because if this is possible then glacier crossing will not be involved.
