Thanks @rehankillbill for your detailed response.
@asifcae feeling sad and heartbroken after reading what you have shared. Our own people are ruining the beauty of our beloved and beautiful country.
Actually, those who litter in cities will do the same in places they visit for tourism no matter how beautiful it is, the habit doesn't change. It's all about basic ethics and civic sense.
Although, it's unfair to quote example of Japan here since they are way beyond us, just sharing what I have seen there during my visit 2 years back. My main stay was in Tokyo, I visited many tourist attractions in the city and also visited natural places like different lakes and mount Fuji 5th stations etc. these all places are densely crowded and people from all over the world visit these places. But I never saw a single piece of trash on the road or anywhere, even if you try to look for trash you'll fail to find one. People don't smoke on roads and at public places as there are separate places for smoking, they don't even eat while walking, because they think it's bad manner and bread crumbs will fall on the street while you eat which will eventually make the street look dirty.
Interesting part is there are no dustbin anymore on the roads, you'll find dustbin in conveyance stores only. Actually, they have developed a concept of carrying a shopper commonly known in Japanese as "Gomi" which all tourist should carry with themselves all the time to keep your trash with you and throw it once you are back home.
Unfortunately, here in Pakistan if you politely ask someone not to throw trash, they will start arguing. who the hell are you to stop me.
I personally belief that people all over the world are same, it’s rule of law which compel citizens to act in certain manner. I am sure we do have laws for everything including this trash throwing and littering, the need of hour is its implementation. Once government start talking strict actions against people who throw trash, people will soon develop habit of not littering and carrying their trash with them.
I simply don’t know what hurdles stop government from such implementation. May Allah guide our people to behave and leaders to take action.
Anyways, coming back to the topic. Asif bhai, so will you not recommend visiting Kumrat Valley, Jahaz Banda and Katora in September? Should I wait till next season? Or plan for some other place?
