Though I was skeptical at first and I very recently used it and found it to be excellent. Perfect drive, smooth road, less traffic with patrolling by Motorway Police. For me this was a very good, successful experiment. Saved me time and enjoyed the drive.

Has anyone travelled all the way to Sukkur on N55? May be this could be an alternate route for road trippers venturing upcountry.

Can any member guide me about the following queries related to Travel. I am travelling to visit Astore Valley with Family on an Altis 1.6 2021 model after Ashura holidays:
1) I wan to use my car till Balakot. From Balakot, I want to hire a Jeep/Land cruiser/TX to go further. What would be jeep rent cost from Balakot to Astore? Planning to spend 3 full days in Astore.
2) There would be a night stay at batakundi, before going further to Astore. We will return follow the same plan on our return from Astore to Lahore. Is that Plan OK?

Road closures during 7-10 Muharram is an every year event in Skardu, hence there would be few areas/roads that are specifically known to be blocked during these times. We were hoping to travel to skardu this july during these dates and would like to know beforehand of the anticipated road closures so we could make sure to not be travelling to those places specifically.
