I am a silent reader from the start of this thread and almost every other traveling discussion on this forum because it have and hopefully will provide me great information for my coming trip.
We are a group of 10-12 cousins and love to travel. Only time we all can get along is on both Eids.
From past 3 years we had many trips starting from 2nd day of eids till 4-5 day.
In those 3 years now we had been to following places.
- Malamjabba 3-4 times. In summer+winter.
- Shangla top 2-3 times. Boht seasons.
- Gabben jabba 1 time only in summer 2018.
- Chitral 1 time in summer 2018.
- Kalam 3-4 times 2016-2020 in both seasons.
- Mahodand and saifullah lake in summer 2017 and 2018.
- Jarogo waterfall in summer 2018. It the highest waterfall is Pakistan.
Late year in August we were on a 4 day trip to kalam and uper sides. We went to these places:
-Bluewater. An hour drive from kalam.
- utror.
- gabral.
- Shahi bahg. One of the best place.
- kandol lake.
- buyun
All tours are in swat because we are from there and for starters it easy for us.
For stay we have 3 medium tents and also take all essential things with us. For food sometime we eat from outside otherwise we cook for ourselves.
For transportation, we take 2 sedans for good roads or 2 SUVs for places like kalam and upper sides.
I will share them in traveling section soon when I get time.
Now comes the real part.
Coming eid Al fitar on May 25-26 we are planning for 6-7 day trip to gilgit-hunza-skardu-deosai-khunjrab side going from besham-chilas road.
Now I need suggestions from members on our tour.
Should we go on eid Al adha cause of snow in some places in may-june? Or eid Al fitar is fine?
What places should we visit in this limited time? I know 6-7 dAys are less even 10-12 days are nothing for this area.
Tents will do the job or should we book hotel rooms?
2 SUVs or 2-3 cars? If persons are 13-14.
For me it's too early plan now Zindagi ka kia pata Allah sub ko sehat de.
But I thought this thread is going good so why not ask now.
I was the planner/navigator/guide in all our last trips so thought I will update myself and took some advice from you guys.
Every little input will be most welcome.
Here are some pics from our past trips.
