Trek to Spin Khwar Lake and Izmis Lake. June 2014

Boht aala tasveer.

2010 floods devastated this region a great deal. I can recall some old pictures from this area (around 1986-1987) of my childhood when Kalam and beyond were tourists heaven. But I was shocked to notice the change in landscape when I visited Kalam this April. Gone are the days when people used to sit by the riverside and enjoy fresh trout. Simple and safe heavens.

This photo of yours reminded me of the pure beauty and simplicity of our lands and our culture.

Yes Dear, you are absolutely right. Kalam is no more beautiful as compared to its past. A feeling to walk through the DUST all the time in the Kalam. However we can see beauty when we go into remote areas ahead to Kalam

So, after a couple of days break ....but Abbas continue our virtual trek meanwhile :).
After the Battal Bridge, we continue our trek on same side and started to gain the altitude. A couple of tricky and slippery turns after covering the a short span of time

This area was the most beautiful and Green after the Kalam Banda Area on the both of the treks

Finally reached at this point where a hut is located beside the trek and we stayed here for a short but formal break. We celebrated here a PLUM Party :). which we accidently bought from Kalam and luckily were very tasty
