Before this I was in a planning phase .... Jumping will be on jumping time

Plz tell me from where did you cross the Izmas Nala to come to Kalam Banda. i think you camped in Kalam Banda after crossing the Dir Top in 2013.

Izmis lake seems very beautiful and also its trek.

Is it possible to complete the Izmis lake trek in 1 day from Deserted hotel???

Dear Zahid it is about 11km (one side) trek and about 1100m altitude hike which took about 6/7 hours trek Ascending) and 3/4 hours in Descending ,so you can check pros and cons of your trek accordingly.

We got four tickets for mingora (Rs 400/ticket). Now we have a plenty of time to take our due dinner and a cup of ?chit chat? ,s o we did the same in an adjacent hotel.
We are given the last 4 seats in the coaster and it become sticky with us on the whole tour then. We are always destined to sit on the Back Benches then. After a mid break at dargai--- where we took a drinks/tea dose ---finally we reached at 04:30 to Mingora. No van was ready for kalam there. However a van driver who intends to go Bahrain offered us to take our seats in his van and he will drop us to Kalam but his body language was quite different, so, we loaded our luggage on Rickshaws and go to Green Chowk from where we can get early vans for Kalam. A van was about to leave when we reached and then the Back Benchers were into the Van for Kalam. Mingora to Kalam was about 98km and we assumed to cover this distance in 4hours. As you may read in many threads here that road to till Madyan (about 50km)is fine for travelling. Madayn to Bahrain(10km) is so, so and Bahrain to Kalam (35km)is mostly damaged. The 8/10 km just after Bahrain is the most damaged part of the road.
After reaching to Kalam the main task along with the Run, run, run mode were

• Purchase some eatable for first days dinner + some breakfast items
• Team have to breakfast there
• Arrangements of a ride to Utror/ laddo Village.

I wasn?t feeling well, so skipped the breakfast round with the team and I was searching of the Bread/Bun for our trek. I walked along the whole bazaar but couldn?t succeed to get the Bread or Bun. Due this reason on coming days we used Chicken Spread/Jam with the cakes/Chapaties/Biscuits J
Although we noticed all sort of ride were go to Utror but we opted for a jeep. Even very less jeep were available in the Kalam Bazar on that date just to disturb our plan or to make the plan of run, run , run more perfect. Me along with Abbas captured a baba Ji which have come to Kalam from Mardan but actually Baba ji captured us. His last demand to take us was Rs 3500 to Utror(one side). Finally done and enjoyed the super slow moving ride to Utror.
Clouds were very attractive and we are happy to see the indications of weather

Baba Ji continuously put his foot on 1[SUP]st[/SUP] /2[SUP]nd[/SUP] gear to win a first prize on Slow Moving Driving. Credit goes to his personal ride or he was new into the area. At several time we directly /indirectly told him about our time constraint but he has quite a solid decision about his driving speed. After crossing the Domail our first and a short stay was at Damaka Lake.

Dhamaka lake which is now called Park or Dhamaka lake park. Some beautiful and tempting restaurants were established there for a short break there

Check the sitting place of one of the hotel there. We haven't any time to dip our feet in the chilled water but on our way back we full filled our desire and felt a relaxing time here

At Dhamaka Lake Park we met with Mr Hanif there. Hanif arranged porter *** guide for us(He was the same person who arranged porters for us in our previous year Kandol lake trek too). We inquired about a porter Sharif which was very helpful on our previous trip but Sharif was busy in some personal matters, So, Ghani and Sajjad were our companion this time.

Reached Utror at 11:00 and then to Deserted Hotel at about 12:00. Thanks to Almighty , there was a bridge now other wise we have to do an hour two to further trek as we did in last year for Kandol

We started our trek at about 12:00 Noon and have an estimate of an hour to reach at Laddo Village. Remember if you start your trek from Deserted Hotel(Near Gatal) then on the way to Laddo village you will have to cross two Nallas. First nala is coming from Desan Meadow and Second one is coming from Spin Khwar lake. Members were filling their water bottles from the nalla coming from the Desan Meadow

Here we select a site for our camp, left one porter (Sajjad) along with the luggage here and then following the Spin Khwar nala started our trek to Spin kHawar lake.
