Camp 2 was at place called Arbab Parian. (We were desprately looking for PARIAN but in vain). Fresh water is available on the camping site.

Shujerab valley does have a little vegetation and is used by locals for feeding the yaks before returning back to Shimshal

spanCalibri","sans-serif";"A must go place & till this time there may have been very few who were aware of this remote trek of Shimshal to Manglik. Thank you for sharing & promoting this trek, I urge tourists to visit such places, if goraz are not coming then it’s our responsibility to visit such places & get some time out from the jobs & businesses, this will also keep the economic circle rotating for people of these areas, which is very important to get good facilities, maintain the trek & get help from the locals.

And I was asking about the doors.

These doors were made at stretegic locations. Their use to be a gaurd to keep an eye on Chinese coming this side. Most of the times the doors are made at the point which were the only possible place to cross the mountains.
