Our departure was from Islamabad. Preeto came from Karachi for the trip. Sakeena is from Lahore.

Our ride was old 1942 Willys MB. 4 young girls have to be cramped in small space for the rest of journey. We picked up Sakeena from Daewoo and transported all of our technical gear via Silk route transport service to Hunza.

And the journey begins.

Our first stop was Naran as by the time we left Islamabad it was 13:00 hrs. Pictures enroute to Naran.

We arrived at Naran at 10:00 pm. It was the weekend and the place was crowded as hell. We had hard time find the hotel and finally got two rooms at Troutland Hotel at 2500 Rs each.

Spend the night there and left for Gilgilt at 10:00 am in the morning.
