From timergara, your only option is to goto Upper Dir in local van and from Dir, jeep charges 250 or 300 per passenger to reach Thal.

make sure jeep got 4x4 working. if not it wont be able to make to reach tikki banda. Infact ask Imran he ll arrange one for u

Great Sharing brother! We are 5-6 friends planning to visit Jahaz banda & Katora lake next month in August.I really like your schedule & wanted to follow the same. Only question is about your night stays, did you take tent camps with you or did you find night accomodation easily?
At Jahaz Banda, u will find a lot of wooden huts from local for Night stay on rent
In thal, i found only one hotel, but if u like adventure, instead of thal opt for kumrahat on same day, u ll find nos of camps along river

Can you please mark them on the maps and attach here. So I can get a better idea of the route.- I have this plan in my mind:Left at 9:30pm from Lahore to Mingora...reached Mingora till 5 am..... left for Dir from Mingora and reach dir till 12 pm.....left from dir for jahandri and reach there till 4 pmWill this plan work?- I have some previous trekking experience, can I do Katora lake and back to Jahaz Banda in one day (if I depart from jahandri early morning)- Are jahandri and tikai banda same?
