We reached Diran guest house in minapin district in the evening. The idea to stay at diran guest house generates from a recommendation by ali bhai @sprite in his thread of raka poshi base camp trek. Thanks Ali bhai for recommending such a nice place.

Another advantage of staying night at diran is to cut little time from long and tiring journey from karimabad to skardu.

They gave us option of camping in their garden @1000 with all accessories required in camping, and we say yes..
The hotel Manager is a nice gentleman named Israr hussain, very coperative and friendly staff, delicious local food(highly recommended), best location for night stay for families and friend,very well maintained garden with lots of flower all around.

In short, highly recommended place to stay..

Gup shup with locals before dinner..it was a nice ghup shup. one of them was from forest department. he told us stories about the wild life of that area. like Ibex,markhor, etc.

For dinner, we ordered local pizza called "Chap choro" in local language. it was baked bread with qeema inside. very tasty.
They also provide complimentary "Namkin Lassi" to us.
