We stayed at shangrilla around half hour. then we left for upper kachora lake.

it was raining continuously.

The trek from main road to lake was very scenic. i really like that trek.


on the way to lake, we missed our way and began to climb on the mountains.

then one local came and guide us on right trek.

We reached skardu in the late evening and started searching for hotels. but couldn't find any suitable hotel. I think it was the busiest day in skardu city regarding hoteling. Every hotel was booked and the remaining asked too much rent.
i discussed the situation with sufian @Xoofi and he recommend baltistan continental hotel,where they stayed last year.

After bargain we stayed there @2000/night with one double bed, one single bed and 2 mattress. it was good hotel with cooperative staff, nice food, clean rooms etc.

it is 8-10 km inside. not on main road. dont know about exact location as our driver knows about it, so we don't enquire about it with some one.

Day 9: 21 June 2104

We left skardu quite late due to tiring journey of last day. today our plan was to reach hushe (Recommended by @xoofi) and stay night there.

From skardu to khaplu it is approx 3 hrs mettled road scenic drive.
