Trip Gilgit baltistan 2014

i reached FM early. so i searched for room. got a cottage@1500/night

it was a decent wooden cottage with nice location.

Day 4: 16th june 2014

it was cold at night.

next day i refuse to visit beyal camp trek due to pain in knee joint. others visited beyal camp while i visited fantoori lake and surroundings.

first my visit to fantoori lake & surroundings.

rates of cottages are almost same i.e 1500-2000 rs.
if your family and kids are normal trekker then u can go there. otherwise i donot recommend u to visit fairy meadows with family..

in ramzan all the tourist destinations have no rush. i visited there before ramzan i.e 15-16 june 2014

Day 5: 17 june 2014

next day we left fairy meadows early around 7:30 a.m
i again prefer horse due to knee pain.

this person check my camera at fairy meadow view point while i was taking snaps of here and there.

he thought that i might take snaps of their ladies etc..
they are very possessive about their ladies. i cannot understand one thing.

on one hand they encourage tourist visit in their area and earn lots of money from them. on other hand they show attitude to tourist. "lena hai tu lo warna agay berho wala attitude".

all the persons i met from raye kot to FM, all are chahcha,mama,taya,cousins to each other. very strong monopoly i have witnessed in this area.

han yeh bat to hay keh wo saray mama koi chacha etc hein.because wo sub log wahan kay hee hein aur u subka kam hee yehee hay.

personally i do not like FM due to many reasons.

1-hectic trek.
2-costly food
3-porter cost
4-horse cost(if required)
5-people with attitude (the most irritating thing)

is say ziada achi places pakistan main hain jo meri next posts main ap dekhain gy with less hectic things.

everyone here has the right to share his/her experiences as he/she feels.so i hope no one will argue me on this topic like @ranasherdil bhai.

hahaha andar ki batain..

bus yehi theen andar ki batain. baqi sab set rha all over tour. FM was a big disappointment for me as well as for my colleagues.
