Cool..
Did you went inside the coal mine as well, Mumtaz Bhai.
Your point about Gov't is correct. No help there as in terms of infrastructure like with many industries. The amount of tax collected overall is also not fair, if nothing is given in return, not even a proper road lead to this place. Makes you wonder where all that tax money goes then.
Also, the condition and the technology of mine extraction is from Mohenjo Daro Time, except for a hard working Mazda engine instead of a pair of oxens . No offense to anyone brother.
It just shows how much behind we are in terms of technology.
In all the countries, including in Africa, they have some Lift going down, with proper well dug out pathways. Hopefully, the brothers will continue to work hard and May Allah bless them in their work. They are really putting up with alot of harsh environmetal and work conditions.
This is how US also got started, working in tough conditions, and little children used to work in Coal Mines in USA and UK as late as 1900s, before the Labor Laws were inacted and new technologies were invented and gradually adopted. in these Western countries.
Coal is an incredible gift of nature if used properly. But also poses some risks. Even in US, they have some incidents where Coal miners get trapped in a collapsed mine. Just two months ago some men were lost. In China, its a very frequent occurance and many hundreds of workers loose their lives, due to trapment or explosion inside the mines. Many times due to workers carelessness or lighting up a cigarrette. You should never do that, due to high build up of Methane, a catalyst for combustion.
US still uses Coal Mines to produce a big chunk of its electricity. China produces most of its electricity using Coal. Also India and many other 3rd world countries use Coal extensively for power production. Pakistan is NOT using its Coal reserves as well it should be and it sure is capable of using this natural resource, if we work more Scientifically and acquire skills with our own intelligence. Just like Americans did, and British did and now Chinese and Indians are using. We should think about technology and the ways to use it to benefit us all.
