Yes Tariq bhai, you can go with family, you will find good rest houses in Karen, Jagran, Sharda and Kel.
There is one govt. rest house in Jungle near Taobut but if you are lucky enough you will get it other wise most of the time it is occupied by army officers. If you are with family its better to stay at AJK Tourism rest house in Kel and have a day's excursion at Taobut.

Agree with Ali bhai. Further, you need to get the hotels booked from Muzaffarabad. I camped at Upper Neelum instead of Kerran. Upper Neelum is at 10 mins drive from Kerran but a very beautiful place. You would definitely like landscape from there. In my starting pictures, 2nd picture is taken from Upper Neelum.

Day was over and we really enjoyed time spent in Tabutt Valley. Our next day plan was to reach Kel then trek to Arang-Kel. We were informed by the locals that recently (2 days before) chair lift is installed which will take you to Arang-kel.

But later we came to know chair lift was out of order. So, we had to trek towards Arang-Kel. PWs walo ki himmat hy k 1.5 hours mai Kel sy Arang Kel pohonch jatay hain otherwise it took 2.5 hours of us. But when we reached there, wahan to scene he kuch aala tha. Have a look

Next morning we left Kel early at 8 in the morning. Destination was Domail Bala as we planned to go to chitta katta. But we could not made it becuz of harsh weather that day. Here are some pics on the way towards Domail Bala from Kel.
