Dear All
Few year back I traveled to Tharparkar by visiting Jhok Sharif, Badin, Mithi, Islamkot, Nagarparkar and Kasbo which is the last village on Indo-Pak border. I wish to share some pictures and trip details with you guys to enjoy. The quality of the pics are not so good but they can gave you the idea that how beautiful is our Thar and its surrounding.
We started our journey from Karachi and stayed at my brother's place at Jhok Sharif which is around 40Km from Sajawal. Left early morning for Badin and reached there by 10am.
At MITHI we stayed for a night at my brother's friend home which is located at Dharmani Colony. The outside elevation of his house is similar to the one we use to see in Karachi but inside of the house was totally traditional. They use kitchen in a tomb style ("chola" what they call) and their washrooms were located right at the end of the compound. The picture will give you some idea.
That "Chola" is their kitchen
Some picture of Mithi
At Islamkot we visited Saint Shree Neuram Ashrum where they have so many mandirs inside a very big compound. Visitor's are not allowed to go inside but Mr. Dharmani (brother's friend) offered some bribe to the policemen and he let us in by saying ... "kisi ko batana nahi kay tum Karachi say aye ho" and we were giggling. Karachi ki public to dur say pehchan may aa jati hay
Nagarparkar and Kasbo ... The most beautiful part of Tharparkar
