Sri Lanka is beautiful, no doubt. But I've heard that Sri Lanka govt issues only 2 days visa on arrival for Pakistani.

Where is srilanka embassy in khi? Any idea

The Turkish embassy rejected my application, in that case can anyone tell me what is the procedure to ask for the reason of rejecting my application. And can I apply again?

You shouldn't take this very lightly, visa rejection can affect your future travel, and that's why your first ever case has to be very strong. I told you to get a notarized invitation letter because otherwise it is only a piece of paper for them.

Anyway, may I ask what amount did you show to the Embassy in your bak statement?
Have they given a reason why they rejected your visa? As far as I know some reason is always provided.

Gerry's just handed me my passport. There was no reason letter or anything except my passport.

You are right bro. I was going with good intentions and my visa was rejected. And mere sath hi ek friend ne bhi apply kiya tha. He will go to Germany from there by road. Idk what he wants to do. His father is too much tensed due to his bad activities so he is sending him abroad. He said he will burn his passport and live there blah blah.

Its risky but still he is leaving after two days.

And don't worry I have been to Turkey 6 times I see people always getting rejected for no reason
He should apply German visa your friend they are the friendliest embassy people I met ever always gave me visa with a 5min interview
Give them solid reasons to visit and their u have the visa

The world has changed for the worst and unfortunately our foreign policy sucks which is why our passport is one of the top 5 worst passports to hold. Hang in there, Pakistan inshAllah shall turn around.

Best to visit a good large photo studio shop and let them know which visa you're applying for and they will fulfill the requirement for a biometric photo

Photo studio/shop like Clifton Studio, Sky Color Lab etc.

I'm not based in lahore so don't know but I remember someone taking these names a week back for something.

You should be able to google some and since you're in lahore should already know a good photo studio.

Dear all,

Does Turkish Embassy / Consulate in Islamabad / Karachi recommend any
company regarding Travel Insurance requirement? I looked for approved
list of travel insurers on the Turkish Embassy / Consulate website but
couldn't find any relevant information. Kindly advise

Plus what if i want to skip third party drop box services and wish to
submit my family's visa application personally at the Consulate. Is it
possible and if it is, any procedure involved or just that I've to
appear at the Consulate.

I guess you could easily get travel insurance from some good reputed companies or Banks. It wouldn't cost you much. Secondly, there's no way but to apply through Gerry's for your visa application to Turkish Embassy. As for last one year, they've abolished the personal appearances to the embassy/consulate and all the correspondings are being done remotely through gerry's.
