oooooooooooooo......so thats y my city front tyres surface area was touching more then the rear tyres......i wld use 32...for front n 30 for rear from now onwards....thx
I am using 195/65/15R size in my Corolla 9th Gen 2007 GLi, suggest me air pressure for best economy and smooth ride.
Currently I am filling 28 in front and 30 in rear tires.
You have written "According to Honda", but is there any source or documentation of that? Just for authenticity. Because un-even tyre pressure is not recommended at all, it may have a negative impact on overall suspension (told by my mechanic). I dont know if its true or not
Ok, I have checked on the driver's side door, and the recommended tyre pressure for front is 32, and for rear is 30, for Honda City, 2009, 1.3 M/T
Same for 2014 city
Dear Pakwheelers What about Toyota Vitz. OEM TP written is 36/34 But how about when u have that car in Isb, Pakistan. Its no more in Japan, so should we follow our local trend 30/30 or somewhere in between?Your guidance will be appreciated please.
As the engine is on front end so the weight of car is more as compared to rear side. So honda suggest the correct tire pressure range. Similarly, in motorbike the manufacturer always suggest to keep front tire pressure in between 18 to 20 psi while the rear tire should have pressure up to 28 psi. But in case of two persons sitting on bike then rear tire pressure should be 32 psi.
The ride is a big tighter but gives a good average. and same , haven't faced any problem ever. The car runs smoothly.
G khuda Khaufi hay, tabhi Khuda ne accident se bachaye rakha hay ab tak.
You fail to understand? let me help you here, i get a very good fuel average, ride becomes tight a bit and i over all i like the drive.
No brother, 28 psi is too low and because 28/30 is dictated by those pressure bharnay walay larkay so you agree with them? Well i dont
No matter what size of tyre you are using, air pressure should be as per car manufacturers recommendation. It is given on door side. You will notice they only vary this with change in weight of passenger sitting in the car.
Too low air pressure will increase fuel cost and destroy sidewall. Too high air pressure tyres will loose braking power.
Have not experienced loose braking power at all.
Keep tire pressure to 32 psi. However, on motorway always fill 10% extra air in tires to prevent wear out of tires as well as save fuel. On highways at high speed the tires temperature comes down due to contact of high air flow followed by pressure drop. Low tire pressure generates more heat and thus tires wear off quickly.
