Tyre suggestion for honda city 2016

Assalam o Alakum , I am planning to install Bridgstone techno 185.65.15 in honda city 2016. Any one already using this tyre please suggest. Or any one have maxixs tyre experience in honda city

Dunlops are far better than maxxis as they are china and performance wise just ok. Why not to opt for Yokohama blue earth es32.

My father's car has those Bridgestone Techno tyres. Excellent experience so far.

Anything that is new rubber and comes in your price range is fine.. but considering your specific use case is far more critical here.

If usage is 1000km per month - Any Local/Chinese should be fine as long as it is new and has 300-500 treadwear with summer tread pattern.

If usage is high: General Euro Star 175 or 185 for budget option, And German/Italian tyres like Michelin, Continental etc if budget is not an issue and long term comfort is required. These imported tyres will last 4 years or 100-120k KM if usage is highways and more than 2500km per month

Buy Japanese for comfort and urban use (1000-1200km per month travelling) and it will easily last 40,000 to 60,000km depending on your road conditions.

Yokohama ES32 in 185/195 is recommended - bigger tyre gives better road clearence but has reduced fuel efficiency by a few percents.

Korean: Kumho or Others i have no experience.

Imported tyres not going to last 100 to 120 because of weather and road conditions in Pakistan my we change my sister’s grande tyres with Michelin primacy 4 cost us 24000 per tyre and they only last for 60k KMs and rubber material of started to degrade.
One thing to remember the tyres they designed for Asia market doesn’t comply with our environmental conditions they main market is Thailand,Indonesia malaysia etc and they not much hotter compare to Pakistan.

Kumho is garbage tyre he should stay away from them.

Japanese are mostly smuggled and the one properly imported are hell expensive.

I had good experience with Chinese silverstone tyres only but currently using sailun in my GLi they are little noisy.

I agree on Primacy 4s, they are good tyres but nowhere near the EnergySavers+ or XM2 - I have used Michelin ES+ for 90,000kms in my city (2015 to 2020) they lasted 5 years and still had 30-35% tread left.. Like I said they are only worth if your running is higher than average. Even when they are end of life and starting to crack/dryrot there is zero issues with punctures, braking or handling in wet or dry road conditions.

I'm using ES32 Yokohamas now mainly because of the lower rolling resistance and therefore higher fuel average.

If you use any chinese or local tyres say goodbye to comfort and fuel efficiency, you pay in the long run and there is zero peace of mind on highways.

I would disagree on Kumho's they are excellent quality rubber and most higher end SUV's and compact suvs like Sportage and Hyundai Tucson come with Kumhos.

I personally would go with Kumhos if there are no other viable options.

They use kumho because it’s their country brand and they ask them to promote their business and it’s Korea’s old technique I would never opt for them as first or second choice would go for 3rd or 4th if things doesn’t go in favour.
We had bad experience with kumho tyres back in 2011 when we bought slightly used 10 gen corolla and owner changed it to kumhos. They were noisy and so much hard that they weren’t providing comfort of drive.

I certainly don't have any personal vendetta with the brand - so i might consider upgrading to Korean cars in the future and I'd like my tyres to be Kumho's for sure.
