Tyres brand new imported or smuggled?

Hello guys, i want to chang my swift tyres.
Kindly suggest. should i go for brand new imported tyres or new but smuggled tyres ?
What's the difference other than warranty.
Share your experiences.

Smuggled tyres are badly bent to fit in other tyre

Although after smuggling tyre walas put them on rims and inflate them full and remove tyre from rim and repack.

After this procedure tyre appears normal but stell belts inside gets distorted hence

When you put such tyres on your car and get them balanced by good technition. Even then these tyres will definitely vibrate at some sepcific speeds (especially at high speeds above 120km/h).

Also One thing i noticed is that smuggled tyres also wobbles at some specific low speeds like brand new smuggled tyre (Advan db v552 on my civic wobbles at 40-50km/hr then remain smooth till 80km/hr then woobles at speed above 120km/hr

This problem get rectified after ireplaced my smuggled Advan Db v552 with Ofdicial import Advan db v552 from Seikh Brothers.

Also remember whenever you buy brand new tyres there will be a red and a yellow dot on tyre side wall.

Ask the person who is replacing your tyre to Allign the red dot with rim valve stem. Most crucial part for ride smoothness.

New tire is best.smuggled tire is just gambling with your life.Don't risk ur life for a few bucks.

Original brand new tires are always the best choice. If you want to bet your life to save a few bucks, then you go for the smuggled ones.

Even new chinese tires are better than smuggled ones.
