Tyres for Honda City IDSI and Fuel Consumption per litre?

Dear see ur stock tyre size and use tyre size near this. I hv city 2006 its stock size is 165/80/13 but it has 185/70/13 it gives me avg of 16.60 with a.c on 5 person on board long plus short rute. I think its best avg I m getting. Enhancing to large rims often reduce milage

I am getting my new city next week, ppl suggesting to replace provided tyres with some good quality tyres like michline, bridgestone etc.

Hi I have recently bought Honda City Vario 2006 and now has installed brand new Bridgestone Nextry 185 65 R 14 tires. Maybe it is a bit late to ask, but nothing is late in my dictionary, if these are reasonably good tires? I know there is nothing best and there is always ... Super se bhi ooper

I have 2005 city, around 83K meter reading. It is completly in stock condition having dunlop new tyres i think that is 175/70/13 that is nearer to stock size recommendation.. In march I travelled from Islamabad to Haroonabad via motorway route.. Total distance is around 700 km and my guess at that time was car totally consume fuel of rs 2500 to 2700 at one side ... I sometimes used AC as well after reaching Arifwala road

I have Honda city 2008. The odometer is 120000 Kms. The tyres are Yokuhama size 13 with alloy Rims...the engine oil is replace every 3000 and i use Honda oil / Havoline Oil. I have replace all the 8 Plugs and complete system is working fine as the Scanner results.....the cars is very smooth and has a good pick................The problem i have is the fuel consumption.......I have tried complete tank of HOBC also....means tried all advises of the experienced people and mechanics...... STILL IT GIVES ME 9 KM /LITTER in local and 10 on motorway....i have checked it over 12 times and every time the result is generally same with 5% variation.....any one who can guide me how to handle this issue

If filter pump injectors ok

Hello hash,
I have bought honda city 2005 and its odometer 66k only and it looks dashing inner and outer. Engine is soundless and i have revently tuned up and changed fuel injextor and service fuel pump and filter too. It has greate pcik and smooth drive. It has 165/80 r13 Bridgestone tyres. I have also only 1 issue that is average... It gives me 10 kmpl in cith and 11-12 on long only.,
Any expert one please suggest me what to do?????

are you 100% sure its 66k driven car?
not sure what can be wrong with a car with such low mileage
unless tempered meter reversed etc

Not an expert but can suggest few steps.
- Remove all unnecessary items from trunk.
- Ensure proper Tyre inflation and wheels aligned.
- Replace gear oil with ZIC fully synthetic and Use Liqui Moly gear oil additive.
- Do not use heavier than 10W-30 oil and use Liqui Moly Cera Tec oil additive.
- Clean O2 , MAP, IAC and EGR valve.
- Ensure fan auto with good coolant.
- Ensure correct heat range spark plug use (BKR6E11) with 1.1mm gap in each.
- Refer to service manual and note intake and exhaust valve clearance. Stand on the head of mechanic and ensure he adjusts accordingly.
- if equipped, have the catalytic converter cleaned by Sulphuric acid and nothing else.
- Ensure AC gas is not overcharged.

Hope it helps. There was great improvement in mileage of my cars after these steps.
